News & Media Timeline

A global education evolution is in progress, you may not see it yet, but tectonic plates are shifting underneath the surface.

We have recently become a globally connected species and are facing the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) age of climate/pollution/resource issues and technological transformation together.

We need a future of collaboration over competition for our species to survive and that mission can start with education.

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

- Buckminster Fuller

The Teacher Gamer Revolution - A call to adventure!

Da Vinci Life-Skills co-founder, Zachary Reznichek has published his fabulous Teacher Gamer Handbook, a comprehensive guide on how to embed role play games into your school teaching. Shortlisted as one of 2021’s HundrED most innovative global curriculum initiatives.

We are lucky to have Zach co-creating our curriculum because students will now be able to get an accredited DVQ in Multiverse Games.

RPGs (Role Play Games), LARPing (Live Action Role Play) and game animation are just some of the projects we are offering. These transdisciplinary projects help students explore character creation, world building, strategy, sociology, philosophy, eco-systems, model making, 3D printing, set design, costume making, content creation, coding, and so much more.

The team building and improvised nature of these games help support students social and emotional development. Learning through play is an inherently human trait and it is really fun for young people and adults alike.

Zach held a family event in Bali to launch his book with, role-play games, sword fighting, snakes and more…
